Your Training Program
Your individual personal training program will generally consist of a combination of:
Weight training exercise to develop strength,
Cardio-vascular (aerobic) exercise to develop stamina, and
Stretching to develop flexibility.
Your Nutrition
The nutritional advice we give you will focus on supporting your exercise program and your goals. Close monitoring of your performance will help in adjusting the program along the way, and ensure that we increase the intensity when required.
Our Locations
Because we know life can be busy, our personal training services are always flexible. We offer Brisbane personal training in our fitness studio at Toowong, but we can also come to your home, office, or a nearby park. Whatever suits you best.
Rehabilitation
Your training program will be individually tailored to meet your specific health and fitness objectives and help you enjoy maximum benefits. Which means we can also assist with injury or accident rehabilitation. Where required, exercise prescription will be done inconsultation with your Doctor and/or physiotherapist.
Fitness Assessment
To assist in the process of developing your program, we assess your current level of fitness by conducting a comprehensive fitness assessment. This isrepeated as required to assess your progress and highlight any areas that need additional attention. Your program will be adjusted accordingly in line with your ongoing results.
In addition to your fitness assessment results, you’ ll also have access to your periodised fitness training plan on our site.

Fitness Assessment
At the start of your fitness training with Personal Best, we’ll conduct a fitness assessment to help establish your current fitness level in a variety of fitness parameters.
This, in conjunction with your goal assessment, will help us to create the right program for you. The fitness assessment will then be repeated as required to track your progress and highlight any areas that need additional focus.
Most importantly, your fitness assessments will help keep you accountable and on track towards the results that you want and deserve.
Your fitness assessment may include:
Height and weight measurements
Body girth measurements
Skinfold (body composition) measurements
Strength tests
Cardio-vascular (aerobic) tests
Flexibility tests.
The results of each your fitness assessments will be available for your viewing in graph form on the My Personal Best website.
